"Summer"

4th Grade

I see
a delicate sunflower blooming,
winter arrives,
the flowers pass away.

I taste
sweet fruits of summer,
winter comes,
the fruits rot away.

I hear
sounds of merry birds,
winter blows in,
the birds sail away.

I feel
the sun's heat in every direction,
winter creeps in,
the sun drifts away.

I smell
the scent of orange blossoms,
winter sneaks in,
the blossoms crumble away.

Summer come to me.
